Led by Linda Schaumleffel, a former Olympian rower, this Nordic walking class offers a simple and enjoyable way to stay active outdoors. Linda brings her experience and a supportive approach to help you move at your own pace while building strength and confidence.
This class is designed for all levels. You can walk fast or slow and still see results. The sessions focus on improving posture and core strength while helping to ease tension in the neck and shoulders. It’s a comfortable and low-impact activity that many find easy to enjoy.
Nordic poles will be provided during the class, and you will also have the option to purchase your own from Linda if you choose.
This is a six-week course with a minimum group size required to run. The total cost is $20 for all six sessions. If you’re interested, please reach out to Sharon (Esquimaltseniors@gmail.com) before May 23 to secure your spot. Thank you.
