ESCC is looking for a volunteer who will share time with seniors in ways that improve their quality of life and enables our Non-Profit Society to meet its goals and FLOURISH.

• Someone who can establish and maintain a volunteer program:

• Acknowledges and recognizes our volunteers’ contribution through celebrating their milestones

• Recognizing and creating an environment of appreciation and value for their commitment;

• Identify areas that enhance our ability to meet program and social needs identified by our membership.

• Criminal record check is required.

Esquimalt Seniors Community Centre is looking for several people who have a warm heart, a desire to work within a team and give back to seniors of Esquimalt and surround communities. Our food volunteer will be part of a 5-6 person team who share in:

• Picking up food on a weekly basis from Mustard seed Food Bank ( currently Tuesday 9 am);

• Separate food to use at the Seniors Centre for our weekly activities;

• Prepare food hampers which will be shared with seniors who are in need and often have limited mobility;

• Food safe certification and having your own transportaion would be significant assets to our efforts.
